Nails take as long as they take.
Most salons are built around throughput. Chairs to fill, a queue to move, a clock on every service. It works, and it is exactly why detailed nail art is so often rushed or quietly discouraged.
This studio was set up the other way round. Only one appointment runs at a time, which means no one is waiting on the chair behind you, and a design that needs an extra hour of painting simply gets it.
It also means the room is quiet. No music fighting three hairdryers, no shouted conversations across the floor. For a lot of clients that turns out to be the part they come back for.

Freehand brushwork, foil, chrome, gems, appliqué — she picks whatever will get the look you want and wear well on your hands.
Your nails come first
Nothing is prised, drilled thin or forced. If your nails need a break or a rebuild, she will say so rather than sell you another set.
Honest about the design
If a reference picture will not sit well on your nail shape or length, you will hear that before the file comes out, not after.

- How long you are in the chair depends on the design you choose — tips, sculpting and detailed art all add time. You will be told what to allow when your appointment is confirmed, so put the afternoon aside if it is a big set.

- Come with bare nails if you can, or let her know in advance if there is product to remove so that time is built into the booking.

It depends on the design. A plain overlay is the quickest; tips, sculpting and detailed art each add time on top of that, and an intricate set can run considerably longer. Tell her what you have in mind and you will be given a realistic time before you book, so nothing runs over unexpectedly.
Most people rebook every two to four weeks for an infill. Leaving it much longer puts stress on the nail as the apex grows out, which is when breakages happen.

Not when it is applied and removed properly. Damage almost always comes from picking product off or having it filed off aggressively. Everything here is soaked off gently, and builder gel is available if your nails need rebuilding.
